A good way to lose weight is to breast- feed baby I did it twice and am on my third and back at my original weight. It did take about a month or two after the baby is born, hope this helps.
Also eat ting healthy and exercises helps alot you wont lose anything just sitting around and doing nothing, of course this is old news.

Before I had my first daughter, I weighed 124#. (I'm 5'7) On the day I gave birth I weighed 152#. Through breastfeeding alone, I was back down to my pre-baby weight in 8 weeks...and I had a c-section. My second daughter was a little more difficult as I went back to work full time...but with the same starting weight, I weighed 172# when I gave birth (OMG!) and it took me almost 8 months to get back. I nursed her until 4 months and then went back to work so it took a little longer, but I still never exercised or changed my eating habits. Guess I am just lucky...

With my first one my body just automatically went back into place. I went back to work when he was 2 wks old though. My second one took 2 years for me to loose my weight. I wasn't working at that time though. My third one I took just a plain ole wooden dough roller and rolled from my ribs downward and back up again while laying down several times a day. This helps move your indides around and they go back into place more quickly. A friend told me this and I do believe it helped alot. My stomache was almost back flat in about 2 or 3 weeks.

Well, with my first since I went from 128 to 204 at delivery, it took me a while (1 year). I was out of control while pregnant - I wouldn't suggest it to anyone. Since I nursed him, I made myself eat better foods/drink more water for the baby and that automatically took a lot of lbs. off. Then, I did Weight Watchers and finally devoted my time to Tae Bo which took of my final 25-30 lbs.
With my second I went from 130 to 170 and I just nursed and did Tae Bo (maybe 3-5 months).
With my third, I gained almost nothing so the weight fell off easily.

A close friend of mine gained LOTS of weight during her last pregnancy, and was over 300lbs. After the baby was born she breastfed, and lost not only her baby weight, but lots of extra weight too. And she is not a health nut, nor does she enjoy exercise.
Hope that helps.

Took me about a year. I don't start losing weight until after I stop nursing. That stuff about nursing helping you lose weight is nonsense. Your body knows you're keeping another human alive, it's not going to let you start losing weight.
Just being a mommy was my weight loss program. Never sitting down, never eating hot food, changing lovely diapers. I call it aerobic parenting.

With my first, I was back into my regular clothes in about 2 weeks, with my second it took about 3 weeks. Breastfeeding is the best, easist way to get the weight off, and it's the best possible thing you can do for your baby!
