I was once in her position and the most helpful thing was the love and support of everyone around me. She needs professional help and will not be able to get through this hard time without it! Make sure she is seeing a doctor about this problem and make sure you are there for her 100%! She needs to know how many people truly love and care for her right now! Assure her that she is going through nothing unusual and that she can make it through. If either of you are religious, I recommend saying prayers together and regularly attending church. Faith can help you through so much! If neither of you ar religious, just stick to the professional help and make sure she has a support group (friends and family) throughout her recovery! Good luck!

there is no easy way to deal with this where everyone-including your friend-will be happy about it. you need to admit her somewhere, like an institution. she has a problem and this wont go away on her own. you should act fast! she may be successful with the next attempt. i would call whatever mental facilities that are around you, you dont have to leave a name, i dont think. they will send an ambulance to come and get her and they will take care of her. obviously she isnt going to go to therapy on her own, this will see to it that she gets the help she needs. this isnt something that should be taken lightly, this is a SERIOUS situation. if you are a true friend and you really care about her, you will step in and do something, or have someone else do it, like one of her family members.

You need to tell an adult and they can take her to a hospital where she can get the help that she needs. If she tried this once she will try again until she is successful with her attempt. This is a cry for help so you as a friend need to tell someone.

Firstly, if her parents don't already know. they should be told so they can get her enrolled into some therapy sessions to help her understand and over come whatever has brought her to such extremes. Be supportive of her no matter what, even if she gets angry and tells you off, just be understanding and caring and Listen, really listen to what she says, it should give you some insight as to whats going on. Good Luck to your friend =)

Don't leave her sight because she might try it again. Go to her parents and talk to them about it also talk to her and see why she is feeling this way. She'll need to go to the hospital and get her stomach pumped and see a therapist.Good luck and God bless.
