me and 9 friends were supposed to be going to the killers tonight and earlier today, 2 hours before the bus was due to leave, we heard they CANCELLED the concert! they said the lead singer has a 'serious throat infection'. they're not even rescheduling-they're just not going to bother coming to Ireland at all! I am seriously pissed off-the tickets cost a fortune, we had to reschedule loads of stuff so that we could go to the concert and we'd been looking forward to it for weeks. feel totally let down...has this ever happened to you...???

It's never happened to me but that is a total bummer!
I've seen the killers live a few times and, although I loved them musically they're a bit boring live-they kind of just stand there and play-you could get it cheaper watching a music video.
So TBH you haven't really missed out-hope that makes you feel better lol.
Also, if they're not rescheduling then make aure you get a full refeund (inc. booking fees) and maybe try for some compensation-it's always worth a try!
Good luck and maybe you could get together with your mates and get tipsy and have a dance instead? xxx

This happens too often. People have elevated these rock people to the point that they feel they owe you nothing, including the price of your ticket. Insist that your money be returned and chalk the entire thing up to experience. Know who you support and think about what that costs you.

Don't feel bad, my dad had Zeppelin tickets like 3 different times in the seventies, and they all got cancelled due to tragedy, etc.!! Sucks though!
