From my personal experiences and the experiences of people i know, long distance relationships hardly ever work out, especially if you have never met, or if the relationship is still young and you don't know each other well enough to trust each other and let the relationship survive.

As long as the "long-distance" relationship crosses over into the real life within a reasonable period of time, it will work, or not work, in the same way as any relationship. If it continues being long-distance, with no immediate hope of becoming "real", you're wasting your time and asking for trouble.

My fiance & i began courting even as i became abode from college for spring ruin, so maximum of our first 12 months mutually became lengthy-distance (2 hours aside & neither human beings had a drivers' license) It wasn't continually basic being that a techniques aside, yet we talked on the phone & IM alot and talked about one yet another each and every time lets. purely make sensible you both are honest & can believe one yet another... it really is prolly the biggest element in a lengthy-distance courting. reliable luck!! playstation . and do not believe that each and every one adult men favor sex consistently to be at liberty, cuz i'm the purely chick mine has ever slept with. We were thoroughly monogamous the completed time & chuffed with it.

Yes! My husband and I had a long distance relationship for two and a half years!! We even went to seperate colleges and traveled throughout our dating period. We constantly emailed, called each other and saved our money to visit once and a while. We are now happily married for over 4 years. :)

Just the fact that you are asking if LDR's work .. makes me wonder if you already are having doubts about either your ability or his to remain faithful.
LDR's very difficult to make work .... someone almost always bails

both people need to be very mature and focused on the relationship......so, it can work....but it is not easy.
make clear your expectations and limitations. don't assume he's the only one who can get temped..........
