I had an xfriend staying with my family, I sold some items for her, on my ebay account, gave her the money minus my fees. We had a huge fight and she moved back with her mom, to cover herself she is now saying I stole it and sold it from her, and she is telling everyone back home, I have moved since this fight started, Any suggestions on how to handle this? My family says just to let it go, people who believe her are not your friends, and if you go after her and start a no ididn't fight with her, I am just giving her what she wants. I hate that she is telling people things I didn't do though:(

I have had a similar situation with an xfriend. She also told lies about me. I have completely ignored the girl. I don't reply to emails. I don't even look at her. She insisted for some time to keep sending me nasty emails, but I would ignore every one of them. I could tell with each one that she was getting more and more angry. She finally moved on to other victims, but not before she made a fool of herself with my friends and her friends too. A couple of them who believed her in the beginning, have since come around and realized she was lying. There will be people that will believe your xfriend, but I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up pulling more stunts to run them off too. Keep your chin up.

Don't stoop to her level. She sounds like scum. Just turn the cheek and keep it moving, sooner or later people will see her for what she really is - a liar and an untrustworthy friend. Try to find things to do that will occupy your time and keep your mind off her and her drama.

Its obvious that she is immature. Just let it go because you know that you didnt do it. And who ever believes u did it are stupid. And it seems like she wasnt a real friend or girl friend to begin with
