Keyboards form part of the user interface and a keyboard problem can be very annoying. Sometimes the keyboard drivers can get corrupted. Some of the problems can be fixed . I have found the details given at http://fixit.in/keyboard.html is more useful.

Sometimes you can line them up and pop them on, other times you have to replace the keyboard. If your laptop is still under warrnaty Toshiba will most likely replace the Keyboard if you contact a service provider or check Toshiba's Site.

If it is under warranty or if you have insurance (accediental damages) then they will honor it and fix it.. if it comes off and its under any warranty and you didnt drop it and the machine doesnt look abused, and well taken care of then its a defect and they HAVE to fix it! best of luck!

Depends on how old it is, of course. YOu have to go to their website, check the numbers on the back of your computer, and see if you have any warranty on it at all, after that you can try calling them ... have fun talking to someone who you can't understand :P (indians?)
