You'll want to go to an Esthetician school, but whether or not there are any in your state depends on your individual states licensing requirements. But estheticians take care of skin as well, and don't just handle make-up. And some states do not require licensing for estheticians, in which case, I would go into a department store and apply for a Clinique position, they will usually hire someone inexperienced, and Clinique will train you (it doesn't even have to be Clinique, it could be Lancome, Guerlain, Arden, Clarins, Mercier, Chanel, St. Ives, any one of a number of them). Once hired, you'll go to the 'Clinique' school and learn there at the counter. Luck!

There is a school in california and i cannot remember the name of it but it focuses on not just beauty makeup but hollywood as well and the price was actually very good. so I would start looking in cali. Alot of the people that go there end up doing a lot of makeup for movies.

There are ROP classes that are given at certain schools or occupational centers in your area. Also call the beauty schools and they can tell you what schools give only makeup classes.
