I don't know, but they sure were ignoring the rights of Native Americans, Buddhists, Jews, Hindu's, etc. We have this thing called "separation of church and state" in the USA for a reason - its the right thing to do. How would you like it if all of a sudden the government dictated that you MUST become a Muslim? Think about it.

I don't know, but the originator was obviously an idiot. Nazi Germany was still a Christian state. So were many oppressive monarchies that used Christianity to justify the righteousness of the rulers.
