I get the feeling from what you are saying that you are both from previous marriages. What I sense here is a little insecurity from your side. You love your man and feel scared you will lose him. He has had rejection and so have you. The more you turn to him, the more he rejects you, right? I know from personal experience that its a mistake to be in his face all the time. Become a bit more mysterious. Firstly give him some space. Busy yourself with things you are interested in, for a while only, let him seek you and when he does, respond amicably. You will be amased at how that works. YOu need to read the books "Captivating" and "Wild at heart" by John Eldredge and his wife Stasi. They are amazing. You cannot put them down. And no i dont know these people either. I just found their books and read them and it began to solve my problems. Give him "Wild at heart" because thats for the men and the other for the ladies. I promise you, you will begin to see things differently and so will he.
My husband is like yours and since he read the books, he now does things differently and we have a wonderful relationship.

I hope this helps you a bit. God bless you!

Yes, there IS such thing as "too much time" - how much is "too much" depends entirely on the people involved. If you feel that you're being too pushy - try to back off. Most people need their space, and at least *some* time alone.

Is there anything as too much time together? Yes...if my husband didn't go out in the field every now and again I'd go crazy.I need a break from him at times.

I hope you speak more logically than you type .... I'm not surprised there seems to be no reasonable lines of communication.
