Astrology is much more than just your sun sign, and the mystical woo-woo the general public has been *mis-educated* about. (There is a reason why it's been around for thousands of years!) I'd research your own mars and venus placements, moon placements, as well as his. Do some research on "synastry", and "composite charts."

As always in theory, your egos should work okay together because you're both earth signs, but I have found that men can have a hard time working through their Capricorn energy and be a bit more rigid and bossy. That's just my experience though, I'm sure there are many great Capricorn men.
And for the person who commented about Virgos, I've found they can be extremely creative and a lot of fun. Its like anything else, it depends on the individual and what aspects they express.
At anyrate, astrology aside, it's really just up to you two whether it works out or not - Astrology helps you to understand more of the dynamic between you - but it won't predict the future. You both have free will.

I think if one of you is male and the other is female then you have the same chances as anyone else. There are many more important things to think about in this world. Why waste your time worrying about mystical garbage?
