in the stone tower temple theres a room with a mirror puzzle ,before you get the light arrows

I think I know the mirror puzzle that you mean. It is a little tricky first time.
You need to take advantage of the properties of the mirrors. They absorb any light you shine on tham and as soon as you stop, they shoot the light out. The more light you fire into the mirrors, the longer the ray of light tthat is shot out will last.
Shine light into one of the first two mirrors for as long as you can bare without dying of boredom. About 1 minute should be enough. Now once you stop, you need to run into the ray of light and reflect the light into another mirror with the mirror siheld. Keep this up until the light from the first mirror stops. Then run to the ray of light coming out of the other mirror and aim it at the sun block to make it disappear.
Now you have to rerpeat the process with the mirrors on the other side and remove the other sun block. Once both of these blocks have gone, you can access the mini-boss room.
Since I'm feeling generous, I'll give you some pointers on the boss. He's the Boss Garo. He fights much like the normal Garo's but he is much more powerful. Although you can, blocking with your shield won't be as effective. It's better to sidestep his attack and use a counterattack. Once you've beaten him though, you'll get the Light arrow. Now you don't need the mirror shield to remove the sun blocks, just use a light arrow to get the job done.

use your mirror shield to reflect light from above and onto the sun dials face. Your time is limited so you are going to have one hell of a time.

stand in the sunlight and use your mirror shield to shine sunlight off it and then run into the sunlight and shine it it onto the sun block. i hope thats what you are talking about
