Although that is not a very reliable way of tracking a computer-savvy child's internet usage, in both Internet Explorer and FireFox the command is Ctrl+H.

Computer savvy children, however, know that you can just delete the history. A more reliable way would be to install parental software.

Just open up Internet Explorer and click on the history button on the top menu. Same with Firefox. But if you kid knows what he is doing he may have cleared the history. There are a variety of programs to help you monitor your children online.

At the top of the window is history. It should look like a clock and it has a green arrow on it. You can click on a day and view pages.

click on the symbol in your internet browser that looks like an arrow over a clock. you can view pages as far back as a month ago. if the icon is not on your toolbar, go to VIEW, then click TOOLBARS, then click CUSTOMIZE and find the history icon to add to your toolbar.
