Book values are based on quite a few aspects:
Condition
Edition # (1st edition is almost always top)
Dust Jacket - there or not
Author's popularity
To name a few. I went to bookfinder.com but apparently that particular book is still in print because I found it new for $16 + and that was the only copy I found. That doesn't mean that yours doesn't have much value though. Good luck, do some research on antique books and see what you can come up with

All books have value.
The monetary value, however, is likely to be very low for the average reader. Old book, dated story, disintegrating paper ...
There are, however, people who might be interested in collecting the work of this Australian author -- to a collector missing this book, it would be worth something.

Probably not much... Unless you can find an independent collector willing to part with the money if it is important to them?

Is it a first edition? If so, it automatically has some.
