YES!!! That is wonderful for you... My son slept through the night starting at about 7 weeks as well. DO NOT WAKE A SLEEPING BABY AT NIGHT FOR A FEEDING!!! IF the baby needed the food, he/she would wake up for it. Enjoy the sleep!!!

My daughter did....and made up for it in the day! Our ped. told us as long as she was eating more in the day to make up for it (and meeting the daily requirements for amt to eat) that it didn't really matter when she ate it. She would sleep 14 hours a stretch sometimes (7pm-9am) and then wake up and gulp down a 6-8 oz bottle. As long as your baby is still thriving and growing appropriately I think it's fine. But if you're really worried ask your ped. on whether or not she's eating enough to be able to skip the night time feedings. Good luck with the little one!!

All three of my children began sleeping through the night at 6-7 weeks of age. I welcomed the sleep myself, and was not concerned about them missing a feeding during the night. They thrived and did well, and today, they are healthy, happy and productive adults! 25,23 and 19!
Unless you see a drastic change in your baby's weight and behaviour, let him sleep!

I would view it as a blessing, not something to worry about it. As long as the baby wakes up hungry in the morning you have nothing to worry about, and it probably won't be a regular occurrence so don't knock it when it happens. I remember when my youngest was about 3 weeks old he had one night where he slept through the whole night and it scared the crap out of me...we literally jumped out of bed and ran into his room to make sure he was okay! But that was last time for a long time that he did that!

Enjoy it while you can! But if you are really concerned about it you can talk to your doctor.

if the baby sleeps through the night without a feeding, it doesnt need one.. dont wake them up to feed them, that will only lead to more crying, when the baby wakes up, feed them.. just take it as it comes

Mom O' Four, here...all of mine slept through the night by 6 weeks...it is possible and there is nothing odd if your child does or doesn't...every baby is different. Lucky for me, mine have all been the same in this regard!
