Tom Hanks for sure. Hanks is more of a quality actor and has put some good work out there, not to mention he does variety. Tom Cruise just makes facial expressions, has good hair and thinks he's a good actor. Someone lied to him about is acting skills a long time ago.

Neither mate - once upon a time Tom Cruise was gorgeous beyond words and could do no wrong, but now he is just plain mental - what an idiot.
As for Hanks, well he has acted in some BRILL movies, but all the same, he is a bit boring.......and he does seem to be the same in all of his movies, after a while it's all a bit of a blur.....

No question about it... Tom Hanks all the way!
Classic, entertaining in drama & comedy, smart, handsome in any "every man" kind of way, long term marriage, doesn't seem to have a need to jump on couches, call Matt Lauer "glib", or have a big, headed, toothy-smile, arrogant idea of some weird religion that believes in outer space aliens.
I adore Tom Hanks.... I just roll my eyes at Tom Cruise!
