Dear Ladies:
If you are a size 8 or 10, have you ever felt comfortable wearing a panty hose? If so, what brand do you buy? Also, does your panty hose rip when you are trying them on? I am so uncomfortable that I don't wear them, but have always wondered how people put up with it. Any advice is appreciated :)

i'm a size 8 and i wear them every week to church. i get mine from dillards. but dont get those real sheery type because they will rip easily. if you're looking for a more inexpensive try walgreens. they're thicker too so they will not rip as easily

My mom is a size 8 and she does wear pantyhose. I am not sure about the brand and if you buy to right size they shouldn't rip. All I can tell you is look at a few different brands and the size chart on the back. Pick a brand that you like, the right size and you can't go wrong. When you get ready to put them on just roll them down and pull them up carefully.

I've never had them rip putting them on. Must be your nails doing it.
Start with thigh high hose... much easier to put on, and believe it or not they stay in place just fine. You'll really like them.

sears dept store carries some decent hose, try buying a size up from what you normally wear

Yes.. panty hose can be comfortable and slimming. No nonsense has what they call great shapes. They are great comfortable and slimming.. they also make simply sheer .. with those you won't even realize that you are wearing them.
