i listen to a wide variety of music...but my faves are rap, r&b, zydeco, reggae, and neo soul
my fave artists (or artists that i think have had nice runs) are erykah badu, india.arie, raphael saadiq, avant, prince, mint condition, frankie beverly and maze, lauryn hill, lyfe jennings, maroon 5, yolanda adams, ne-yo, akon, beyonce, z-ro, keith frank, sean paul, beanie man, the roots, outkast, alanis morrisette, dixie chicks, shania twain, many many more...
im more into older or more obscure music or songs though...

I listen mostly to Pop and R&B, but I like all kinds of music, except country.
One artist I am digging a lot right now is Janid. Check her out on www.myspace.com/janidmusic I think she's the net big superstar and I like the fact that she is Latina but she can actually sing unlike Jlo and Cassie.

I'm 35 and I like just about everything from Sarah Brightman to Pantera. My tastes fluctuate constantly so there really isn't one musical type or band that I listen to exclusively.

I'm pretty open-minded. I like P. Diddy's new album and I love Cold Play. I can pretty much listen to anything that has a decent message or something that I can get some exercise done to.
It really depends on what mood I'm in.

See i listen to a lot of different music because of my culture. But as for american music. Who I like best right now is Mary, Ciara, Janet, Ne-yo, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Usher, Chingy, The black eye peas, Justin Timberlake, uumm who else. Gwen stephani, the dixie chicks, U2 and there is a lot more I just can't think of who else.
