That's a toss up for me. Between World Of Warcraft and SimCity 4. It depends on the person. There's so many games out there.

This is a tough one! I love World of Warcraft! I also like the new Super Mario Brothers for the Nintendo DS as well as Big Brain Acadamy! It really depends on the system/computer and what you really enjoy. But as far as popularity goes I know World of Warcraft has over 7 million subscribers as of September of this year!

I'm also a final fantasy 7 person,
It has a great story line and was the first of its kind. The newer final fantasies were pretty good too, but 7 captivated me.. cheers! My 2nd choice would be legend of Zelda ..

If we're going by popularity. The most successful arcade game of all time is pac-man. The most widely played online game of all time is counterstrike.
In my personal opinion final fantasy 7 has still to be beaten :)

classic video games like mario, you adult men are forgetting. Tetris is likewise outstanding. in case you pick modern-day video games, in my opnion, i'm all about quite pictures and advance advance BAM! Halo 3, warcraft 3. purely because i respect rts. Its all opinion :D

Honestly, Super Mario Bros. 3. This game set the standard not just for platformers but all games. It is pretty old now and yet totally playable. I had so much fun with.

it is all a matter of opinion... and the game time it is: action, RP, etc. (frankly these are the two more common genres of the gaming industry). i would say the final fantasy series, kingdom hearts series and the legend of zelda series to be pretty popular, as they all have pretty big fanbase.
