It probably should, given the fact that they are Jewish and singing songs like "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" and other decididly Christian-based carols.
But for some unknown reason I don't care one way or the other. All artists are out to line their pocketbook and with a large percentage of Americans being Christian and believing in Christ, these Jewish singers can make a good chunk of change by singing songs that they most likely don't believe in.
I guess they feel that Adam Sandler has a strong-hold on the Jewish Holiday song with his fantastic "Haunakah"!
If they can;t beat em'- join em'!

It bothers me to hear anyone besides The Chipmunks sing Christmas songs!

Yes, I remain a Neil Diamond fan. People will be listening to his music long after they forgotten most of today's artists.

Not in the least bit, they are entertainer's, and they are attempting to entertain in a traditional way at this time of year. Just because their belief systems may not be the same as yours, it does not mean that they do not respect your beliefs enough to sing traditional Christmas songs to entertain you and I. Many of these songs are classic and beautiful pieces, and it is very common for people from all walks of life and cultures to appreciate them. This is the wonderful part of being part of a free speaking (and singing) nation.

I think it's hysterical! I was watching the NYC Tree lighting last night and Bette Midler was singing and has a Christmas CD out this year too, it cracks me up!

Why should it bother anyone? here are 2 excellent singers, Christmas songs can be sang by anyone. so if they wish to record some I hope I get to hear them.
