The 1980 NZ dollar has the Queen on the obverse and a fantail bird on the reverse. There were 2 versions minted. The uncirculated KM# 49 is made out of copper nickel and sell for around $6.00. The proof version KM# 49a is made of .925 silver (sterling silver), it sells for $15.00-$20.00. These are retails so expect to get less when sold to a World Coin Dealer.
