I need games and activities that require supplies that I can find around the house or purchase. I'll be working as a nanny and must keep the kids engaged and active.

Flea Circus, Cranium Cariboo, Slamwich, Go Away Montser!, Midnight Party, Chicken Cha Cha Cha and Galloping Pigs are all games I've played with my daughter from about the age of 4 or so. I'd also recommend any age appropriate games by HABA or Ravensburger.

You can buy some lego with random pieces (not the ones where they tell you what to make) but make sure the pieces arent too small as it might be dangerous. Then the children can get creative because they can make anything they want!

my lil bro is 4 and he loves sticking random things on papers or old cereal boxes and use his imagination to create whatever he wants.

it doesnt cost you a penny as you dont have to buy anything, just use the yoghurt pots, dried pasta and beans, rice and other stuff found in your kitchen cabinet and not to forget lots of glue and hey presto~ youve got yourself a creative workshop.
