I go to a group practice. I like it because I get to try different Dr's and see which one I like. Now that I have a preference, I always schedule my appointments to get the same Dr. But if for some reason she is unable to deliver my baby, I'll at least know of the Dr that does.

Solo, no matter what if you pick a solo a Dr from the same hospital as him or her will deliver your baby, so all your records will be there. I loved a solo Dr I would be in and out of his office in 20 mintues tops to most of my prenatal visits, I loved it. My Dr did not deliver my baby but the Dr that did was wonderful and they had all my records at the hospital, and my Dr came to check on me first thing and was up to date on everything, Also if you deliver during the day the chances of him showing up are great, unfotunately i deliverd at 1:30 AM

That replaced into continually my project with a solo prepare.....the rfile no longer being available. and not in basic terms for transport, yet for appts, as nicely. What occurs in case you're in line on your OB appt and then the rfile darts off for a transport? that could suck! SO...i've got opted for a prepare. for accepted, habitual, physicals, etc, I honestly have my own rfile there, yet whilst pregnant, an OB affected person sees quite everyone on a rotation in the time of the 9 months so which you get to appreciate all of them (in no way understand who would be on call once you furnish). i do unlike all the scientific docs, yet a minimum of i will get in once I honestly have an appt and not would desire to worry approximately stuff like that.

look at what ones your insurance covers and pick on from that list. i prefer solo. im also a high risk case. solo you know who will be delivering you. solo docs rarely skip a delivery. you see the same person at every visit. they know you well and you know them well. this helps in delivery it put me at ease not having a stranger rooting around up in me except my nurse. by the end of the ordeal that didnt even bother me. i prefer solo care only one doc

I prefer group practice. You have an idea of who will be delivering your baby. If you go solo, you usually end up with the person who is oncall if your doctor is unable to make it.

Solo.. In the end as long as your baby gets delivered safely, that's all that matters
