Nothing can produce good luck other than a leprechaun's gold and it can either be good or bad. But something that tricks the mind into believeing that you have a certain aura around you can give you the confidence that you need to continue.
My lucky charm is this rock i made when i was in sunday school at my church. It's called a hope rock because every person put their hand into this great big bag and picked out a rock. My looked like a cacoon and you were to then pick out a slip of paper from another bag. some said trust, others said faith. Mine said hope. we were to write our word on the rock and then keep it with us. it's given me strength but not luck. Luck is irrational.
Blessed Be.

I come from a very superstitious family although I do not have a personal lucky item myself. We do have all sorts of superstitions about bad luck though. Spilt salt gets thrown over the left shoulder, A dropped comb gets picked up by the foot. No walking under ladders either. Although black cats and the number 13 seem lucky or at least not unlucky for me, which is a bit odd.

I have two one dollar bills that I have kept forever. They were both ripped in half ,yet I still had all of the pieces. So I taped them together one day, folded them up and out them in my wallet. It's been years and ever since then, I have been blessed financially. I don't care if they're the last two bills I have, they will NEVER be spent.

St. Martin de Porres

I am not Catholic but he popped into my life some years ago when I was going through some terrible problems and the death of my Mom.

Somehow, I feel he gets me through and I light candles to him in my home and also I light candles and ask him to intercede for friends and family and acquiantances.

St. Martin is the patron Saint of the under dog, the down trodden, animals, and people who are lost in the world. Also, since he was of mixed race, he is the Patron Saint of ethnic people and people of mixed race.
