Fear not there is help! my hubby snores also and it is awful!!! We have used those nasal strips that they have in the drug stores and also tried him sleeping on his side and on his tummy, they have helped us out a lot. If all else fails have him talk to his doctor, he may have nasal issues. Good luck

Most of these suggestions are great. First see if there is a medical condition that needs to be addressed. And try a few of these other suggestions that people have suggested!
My suggestion is from personal experience. My husband snores sometimes. For us, I just go to bed and fall asleep first and I don't hear it once I'm asleep. If you have difficulty with that, try having a fan going or music softly on in the background to help muffle his snoring.

Snoring is usually caused by at least one of two things:
1. Person is too fat. Solution: exercise and go on a diet.
2. Sleeping posture is wrong. Snoring occurs when the windpipe is blocked. Solution: lowering the pillow height or adjusting the placement of the head on the pillow to open the airway will decrease the chance of snoring.

If he snores you awake make him turn on his side, but I must admit my husband and I have now got separate rooms. I found snoring to be too much and to get him to go to a doctor regarding his snoring is not an option with him. I think everyone snores. Usually when having drink before bedtime is what makes Mr Porky sound like Mr Piggy! Lol

Visit your doctor. There are several physical reason for snoring. Some can be controlled by wearing the nose strip thing. Others need medical intervention. Good luck.

How about those Breath Right strips? There's something else as well that came out recently. I think it's something he can gargle with before bedtime that helps open up the airways. It's made by the same company that makes the Breath Right strips.

My husband will snore sometimes, I just gently tap him or touch him and tell him he is snoring and he stops. Its never really bad tho, So if it is really bad try those breathe right nasal strips, I hear they help with snoring. Good luck, and CONGRATS!

If you two are getting married then his snorring should be the last thing you should be worried about.... there is going to be so much more you'll have to pull through.....save your energy!!! Don't consintrate so much on the small things cause it's a long road ahead and the more you can accept now the better....

The best solutions are: Earplugs, and rolling him over. In fact, wake him up, so he can roll over himself. Then use an extra pillow so that he dosent roll on his back. If he smokes, strongly encourage that he quit!
Just DONT suggest surgery. I know someone who's actually had it done twice, and he still snores.
