It's sort of a filter, people who spend time with me know there is no reason to prove myself, I am what I am.
Everyone who would require me to prove myself is a waste of my time anyway.

Sometimes, it depends on the person I am trying to prove myself to though. I try to prove myself to my boss everyday.

not really. I don't prove myself to everyone, but I would to my boyfriend, and maybe to another close friend. But most people aren't worthy of my effort in trying to prove myself.
