Decorate with white or colored lights for Christmas?

I prefer white, but my children want color.

I like the colored lights. I think that Christmas is the time of year when everyone should have lights and have lots of love and fun and yes I said "CHRISTmas" sorry for those you have gotten offended but as long as I am here I will still believe. So put up lots of colored lights and add a few white ones with it make sure everyone can see you are in ready from Christmas.

We have two trees one in the family room with white lights and a little one in the play room with color lights and kids decorations.

Ya I prefer white lights also colored or "festival" light to me are very 80's but christmas is usually for the kids right? So I would do what my kids asked....good thing I don't have kids yet lol

I myself prefer white, while members of my extended family prefer color. I don't really mind either one I just somehow get very annoyed with someone that chooses to use both, or worse blue or red.. Anyhow white lights seem so clean and pure to me.. That's just my opinion...

Wow! Same here. I have a tree with white lights with red and gold bows. Although my daughters say they like it, they prefer a tree with multi-colored lights. Maybe it's a "kids thang".

Try a compromise--use white and a single other colour.

Red and white or red and blue would look great.

Haven't you heard? "White" and "Colored" are no longer acceptable terms for christmas lights. They can be considered racially offensive.

Instead, use "lights" and "festive lights".

That's what they're saying nowadays.

And anyway, I prefer "Festive Lights"
