Not really. Even though we've screwed up a lot of things in the world, I think that we're still making progress. Do you really want to go back to the days where people of color were lynched, the Soviet Union painted a big target on the U.S. and women didn't have the right to make choices about their own bodies or their lives? No thanks.

If I do, it is only a case of "grass is greener"-itis. I truly do appreciate all of today's technology, and the ease of life that it enables us to have. But I do long for the older mindset, or moral and family values, that the previous generations enjoyed.

Yes hon I sure do! I like to watch children play, to see my sweetheart sleeping and content, to be with my family and friends, without a lot of complications. The best things in life are free and to love is the greatest of all gifts.

I long for more peaceful times. But the only thing constant is change so we might as well embrace and enjoy the present.

Simple times = Simple minds,
or so I've been told. The harsher the reality, the stronger-minded individuals we become.

Yes, definitely.
Reasons:
Everything is too bureaucratic in our times.
We seem to be more monitored and tracked than ever.
To many of today's girls, motherhood has become a burden rather than a gift.

Yes when women wore stockings and garters all the time, instead of pantyhose.
