i have a sis, 5 years my senior. Sh'es been dating this dude for 5 months now, but "nothing serious" in her words. All of a sudden she's making plans to get married cuz he told her he hasn't had sex in 2 years, because he was waiting for the "perfect" woman to com ( my lil'sis)!?!? I've been her father figure since our fahter died 11 years ago, and i'd sure hate it if this punk is telling her lies just to sweep her off her feet. 2 years w/o sex? Should i believe this crap and let her marry him?

This sounds a lot of teenage love thing. I remember a time when I didn't have sex for 15 years, of course I was 15 at the time. :)

But yea, it is a lie, the 2 years may be true, because he is a bum, but he had sex already so there is no "Waiting" any more.

But good luck in controlling your sis's life.

Dont all men feed women bs ?? If he wasn't saying this he would be saying something else. That seems to be women's lot in life. You should talk to her and express your feelings but its her life and you really dont have any right to ALLOW her to do anything. They have only been together 5 months so you should tell her that she really doesn't know him well enough yet to make such decisions. See if you can get her to wait. That way if he's a loser there will be enough time for it to come out.

It's sure hard to imagine being unmarried and not having sex for two years. If he was married I'd understand, but a bachelor? No way.

Maybe if he had no personality and was hideously ugly, but even a blind dog finds a bone every now and then.

Hell no i am not going to let him get away and 2 years never had sex??? if it like I am 110 percent virgain and then I would ask him to go to the dr. to proof it that you are 110 percent virgin... I would not let my sister marry to a guy who might lie like you said.

Man, If sis don't wnat to listen let it go and she will be crying back saying i am so sorry for not trust or beleving you just tell her ok it going to take longer for me to forgive you.. or we could be wrong.

Ultimately it's her decision and you can't change that.
Don't jepordise your relationship with your sis over this guy.
If he does turn out to be some **** then she will have to deal with her mistakes herself-and as her bro you should be there to support her through it.
On the other hand this guy might be "the one" for her and you intervening could make things difficult for them and she might not forgive you for that.

Try to get to know him before making a big stink. Don't trust her judgement without doing a little leg work to form your own opinion. Try inviting him for a "guys" night, watch a little football, golf, whatever
