since this is all new to you, I am sure there is alot about pregnancy you would like to know. I would ask every question you have, the doc is getting paid to see you so feel free to ask answering is his job. I would write down a list of questions you have, Cause I know once I went in for my check up I would forget half of what I wanted to ask. Being nervous makes ya forget what you need to ask. If he seems real busy just let him know you feel as if he isnt taking the time with you that you need. If you feel that he continues to act busy and disorganized I would see another doctor. You need one that you feel comfortable with and that takes time with you cause you will be seeing him for nine months. And you will want the best for your baby.

you should change doctors. Your doctor is disorganized that should give you a red flag. Do you really want this doctor to deliver your baby? How do you know he wouldn't be disorganized when he delivers your baby?
Get a female doctor instead. Females know what we're going through so they can be more sympathetic.
Men don't know anything.

First off I would make sure that you feel comfortable with your doctor that will be delivering your child and taking care of you during the next 40 weeks. Questions that you want to ask are ones that will make you feel assured that the doctor will take good care of you and your little one, such as how often will you need to be seen and when blood work and ultrasounds will be scheduled. I hope that this helps.....Good luck with everything!

1. is the fetus in my uterus or my tubes
2 ask to heart the heart beat
3 what is your due date
4 and don't forget prenatal vitamins and iron prescriptions
and if your OB is too busy, when its time to make your next appointment, switch Doctors, feeling comfortable and happy with each visit is important, not being treated like a name on a schedule is important
Congrats!

well what do you want to know? Sit down and write out all the questions/concerns you have. Your doctor is obliged to answer them so take advantage. Best of luck with the pregnancy.

you need to ask any concerns you may be having. Since it's your first pregnancy you're probably going to have a lot of worries...dont be afraid to ask. You can ask anything from safety of sex to when your due date is. You can ask when your first ultrs sound will be preformed, when you can hear the heartbeat, etc. Also ask about what foods to avoid. Congrats on your baby!!! I recommend getting What to Expect WHen you are Expecting there is a lot of info in there.

I would sit down and write out a list... dont be afraid to ask anything... that is what they are there for...
it is alot easier to write it down before you go on and keep your paper in hand... cause when you get in there all the excitement gets your adrinaline going and you sometimes forget your questions...
