My friend's k800 works fine. I've tried adding car handsfree as an accessory but it still turns off

are your turning on the "in car" profile.slightly press the on/off button till the profiles apper and scroll down and select "in car" or maybe it "hands free" profile.

you might having battery problem, replace a new one and check again. or you might have hit it hard or drop it before this that's y she keep on turn off. if you did, you should check with the phone shop to check the damage.

Contact the retailer and get them to replace it. Assuming its less than 12 months old they should do it for you.

cos its broken mine is fine and stays on.......
