I once heard about a woman who was killed right in front of her kids by being pulled into an escalator. Does anyone have information about it, or is is just the stuff of legend?

it has happened but the woman wasn't killed right there. She had her legs crushed and was sent to the hospital. She died in the ride over due to lacerations. Her husband was there and the children as well. But it was an infant and a toddler no older than 2.5 years old. They wouldn't be old enough to remember how graphic it was but they may have developed a fear of escalators.
Blessed Be.
