the smartest people in the world are (by country) Germany,china United Stated of America and Japam..... Why the Germans because of the cars, jets, and other major stuff we still used today...china paper...rockets...still used today... United states one of the best govermant, and transportation rights, nuclear bomb...things still used today....and Japan...comes to education Oh my God...smart kids...

The smartest group is the one that can produce more than they consume yet are prosperous. They have an inner sense of peace because they give of themselves whenever possible.
The group that most fits are religious. They are less materialistic and look for ways to help others.

There is not "smartest people". I believe the smartest person in the world right now is Marilyn Vos Savant. She married to Dr. Jarvik (who divorced my friend to marry Marilyn)
