No don't be silly! ........if they were it'd be easy in the summer wouldn't it - people would just find out the answers to them questions wouldn't they!!

The mock exams in December 2006 or January 2007 are the exams from 2004, 2005 or Summer 2006

NO, but they do matter. I think different schools will have different ways of doing it, but at my school we took the mocks and then if u miss your summer exams coz u break your legs or something like that then ur teachers can give u the grade they think u would have got and they can use the mock as evidenc aswell as your coursework.

If your school does not do this then they are at least a chance to see how well u know ur subjects and how the exams will be set up. Take them as seriously as you can.

Mock examinations are usually constructed from past questions, but not necessarily from the most recent past exam.
Obviously the questions chosen must avoid the parts of the syllabus that you have not yet studied.
Different schools and departments have various policies on the exact design of their mock examination and on the exact purpose of their examination.
The best answer to your question can be obtained from individual subject teachers - ask them.
