Go to Monster.com or Careerbuilder.com they have samples and tips on resumes that you can use to base yours on.

If you have Microsoft Word on your computer. When you go File then New, it will pop open a selection on the right, then you can choose to get Templates From Online. Just type in Resume in the search field and you will get a great selection. Hope this helps.

You don't make one your write one. There are a number of guide lines on Google. Depending on what you need a resume for as they differ.
It use to be one fits all but now it is rather creative to get an edge on employers reading your.
The US has more looking for work then job so you need to be very creative. Many are going for highly skilled who will work for less. So it is more then just work history and experience.
So again go to Google and look under resumes.

I usually recommend people to follow the following process:

1. Gather all your materials needed: cup of java, pencil, pen, notepad or computer screen, employment records, certificates, degrees, etc. (this usually takes the most time).

2. Create an outline (the outline can be used for any format or style of resume you decide to create).

Each field you plan to go into has different types. Go on line and do a search on google for examples. For me I search for "Technician resume examples". I find resumes taht atre geared up for techincian jobs. I don't copy them but I use the ones I find and like as an example for me to work with.

Select the resume template
Microsoft Word will do all the work for you, all you have to do is fill the blanks in

MICROSOFT HAS SEVERAL TEMPLATES YOU CAN USE JUST DOWNLOAD THEM AND CHANGE IT TO YOUR NEEDS. MAKE SURE TO HAVE SOMEONE PROOF READ IT BEFORE YOU GIVE IT TO ANY EMPLOYER! GOOD LUCK
