Probably the club teams they play for are reluctant to let them go in case they get further injury. Also, It's the club that pays his salary so they have a certain amount of responsibility to them too despite it being the pinnacle of ones career representing your country.

Getting injured is not a case only with Indian Cricketers. A player cannot be blamed for getting injured. It is because of his bad time. I dont agree with any one that a player gets injured so as to avoid playing. No sportsman will ever do that.

It's like taking a sick leave from work. You get paid while watching a cricket match on TV in the comfort of your own house! If you can fake an injury you don't have to face bouncers from the rival team.

hey man, dont say like that. injuries dont tell u when they are going to come. its natural for any sportsman to sustain injuries at practice session and live game. and our team players are unfortunate enough to get injuries during crunch matches. its not their fault.
