As tempting as it may be, having a really hot bath tends to wipe out all of the skins natural moisture and it leaves it extremely dry. Ideally the water should be luke-warm every time you bathe, though if you do insist on having a hot bath, try and cut them down to two to three times a week rather than every day!
There are some natural bath recipes you can create which help to keep your skin looking smooth and moisturized. One of these recipes includes using oats and dry milk powder. All you do is mix equal amounts of both the dry milk powder and the oats, and then place them in a jar. Then each bath you have use ½ a cup of the mixture and you will find that the starch which is within the oats really helps to keep the skin smooth. The milk powder on the other hand contains lactic acid which smoothes away any dry, dull skin which you may have.
Moisturize Regularly!
Moisturizing in the winter months is one of the best things you can do for your skin, though always make sure that the moisturizer is the right type for your skin. If you do use the wrong one, it can often make your skin look even worse than what it already does now.
After a bath or a shower you should always put moisturizer on within fifteen minutes of getting out. It is also best to apply the moisturizer whilst your body is still slightly damp. The best way to do this is to towel dry your body and pat it dry rather than rubbing it as that can damage the skin. It is always better to apply moisturizer at least twice a day and ideally you should apply it throughout the day instead of just in the morning and at night. This helps to give your skin the best possible chance of re-hydrating itself.
Overall winter can be troublesome to the skin but as long as you moisturize, avoid extremely hot baths and if you keep your home as moisturized as possible, you should get through winter with no real problems.

You will need to exfoliate and moisturize but that's not the only thing you will need to do. Drinking lots of water is very important also as well as making sure you don't dry out the skin by using too many products. Having truly great looking skin is hard work for most of us because it is rare to just be born that way . Try steaming your face once a week and using a mild facial that suits your skin type then wash and moisturize.
Don't forget that while you are paying all this attention to your face don't ignore the rest of your body, get a good loofah for your back and get a pedicure even in the winter time don't ignore your feet. They alsoo need some tender loving care, and find a lotion that has intensive moisture and you should be fine this winter.

The best thing is to find a good creamy moisturizer and use it in the morning and at night when you wash your face. Get into a routine (if you're not already) with your face. I also find that exfoliating with baking soda helps to eliminate flakiness. It's small enough to give you a smooth feel without being overly rough. Just take a small container into the shower with you and add water until it is a thick paste. Then gently scrub over your face (go easy on the red areas and don't get it in your eyes!). You can also add some salt into that mix if you want a more intense scrub. I usually use baking soda every three days or so. Make sure to use your moisturizer afterwards!

Two words for you: Exfoliate and Moisturize!
Exfoliate once every 3 days with a body scrub made either out of salt or sugar. They are a bit pricey at the store, but you can make your own at home (there are recipes online for at home body scrubs).
Exfoliate your whole body...including your face...
I love scented soaps, but in the winter I prefer to use a bodwash because they give you less risk of dryness and also of clogging your pores. Choose one that you like...my favorite is Herbal Essences because of the great smell, but it's up to you.
Then...moisturize..moisturize.moisturize.
I use sweet almond oil as soon at the end of the shower. If you think that oil is to heavy for your skin, get a good lotion (anything with shea butter is usually very good fo ur skin) and use as soon as you're out of the shower. This will ensure that your skin absorbs the moisture.
Keep another bottle of lotion next to your bed so you can spread on your skin before going to sleep.
Good luck!

It's really important what you put INTO your body as well a ONTO your body.
Make sure you are getting at least 64 oz of water each day. I also recommend getting enough "good fats" in your body Olive oil and fish are two natural ways to do this. You could also take Omega 3 and Omega 6 supplements (fish oil and flaxseed oil). These are very beneficial not only to keeping your skin moisturized, but to also keep your hair and your nails healthier.
Hope this helps!

The first step in skin care is to know what type of skin you have. Then only you can utilise the beauty tip here.Yes you all know about it. But still there is a sure chance of misunderstanding while estimating your skin. We can have a look on to a little about it.
Skin Types
Dry skin: You may feel tightness and lack of elasticity. The skin looks chaffed and face powder flakes. May be tiny lines appears in the skin. Perspiration is scanty.
Oily skin: Skin looks oily. In the morning time it looks shiny. During daytime skin oil comes out and mixes with make up and looks sticky.
Normal skin: Skin is soft smooth and slightly dewy. The surface is clear with no blackheads or pimples. No feeling of skin tightness or looseness.
Combination skin: This is a combination of oily and dry nature of the skin.
Yes I know that you are using the service of a good beautician for your skin care needs. But on a daily basis there are a few skin care routines to do.
For a compleate skin care, all types of skins need regular cleansing, toning and moisturizing. But select appropriate cleanser, toner and moisturizer according to your skin type.
Cleansing: Clean the face with good cleanser. While cleansing the pores on the skin opens.and remove dirt and excess oil from the skin.
Toning: Drop a little toner in a cotton and wipe through the face in circular motion. While doing this skin pores are closed back to its original state.
Moisturizing: After every cleansing and toning use moisturizer also. It will retain moisture level of the skin.
If you want to use other make up do it between toning and moisturizing.

Simple. Go to a beehive, stirr it up. Take the drop of honey from there. If you are lucky enough you will be able to rub it on your skin to make it smooth. If not the bees will anyway make to smooth!
Jokes apart, apply honey on your face in the morning. Else use cold cream or moisturiser. Twice a day. Religiously. Come back and share your experience with rest of the lots on skin dryness.

ALWAYS, ALWAYS, and ALWAYS wash your face with toners, revitalizers, and moisturizers...so in other words buy Facial Kits that come in steps...I personally use Olay's and Almay's Facials...Olay is for my dry skin (*winter*) and Almay is for my Oily/prone skin....then ALWAYS put moisturizing creams underneath your eyes, chin, and upper lip, (*that way you will obtain a very natural glow that will show even under makeup*)
Then you can apply makeup, or just keep your natural beauty...
