Yes in order to get birth control you'd have to have a check-up, which includes a pap smear hun. And no, they can't necessarily tell that you've already had sex, even if your hymen was ever torn. Hymens can tear in various other activities, not just sex. (horseback riding, biking, etc.....) Besides, it's not really any of the doctors business if you've had intercourse before. But it is important to be upfront with your doctor, he isn't allowed to disclose any information to anyone but you. Good luck!
By the way, a pap smear is to check to make sure you don't have any cancerous or precancerous cells, not to see if you're pregnant or have STD's. Seperate testing is done for STD's and for pregnancy!

Yes you have to do a paps smear and i believe they do check if you have had sexual intercourse to test your sex life and make sure you can handle birth control.

You should be honest with your doctor about your sexual history. They may do a pap smear. If you are sexually active you should be seeing a gyn for this, not just your regular doctor.

Yes, you have to have a yearly check up in order to get birth control. It shouldn't matter if they can tell or not because you have to tell them if you've been sexually active. If you tell them no and see that your hymens broke, their not going to question it because It can break many ways; masturbation, tampons...And if it's about not wanting your parents to know, and your that immature and don't want to tell them, then your probably too immature to being having sex.

yes and possibly yes, but if you are worried about your parents finding out, if you ask the doctor, he won't release any information to your parents.
