Checkout http://www.buav.org/gocrueltyfree/index.html. They also have a list of companies who do test. It depends really how far you want to go because a lot of companies who are unable to test (for example cosmetics) in the UK will be the same companies who fund testing abroad, i.e. in the US, such as Proctor and Gamble (Pantene/Olay/MaxFactor.etc) There is also a thing about the '5-year roll date' and testing on cosmetics in the EU (which will not be banned until 2009).

You should also look at www.peta.org.uk. They have some of the best factsheets around, covering vivisection and cancer/HIV research, which is a fascinating read. Peta also have a list of charities which fund animal testing and a list who don't. BUAV and PETA are the best places to look.

Pharmaceutical companies do- but they have to, its required by law to test drugs on animals before they are put into humans, whatever your beliefs are.......
I dont think theres many cosmetic companies that do anymore- if they do I would imagine they would keep it as quiet as possible what with all the animal activists waiting to firebomb their house.
