For School, I have to name government officials who are not elected, but appointed. Could any one point out to me who they are? I thought that Bushs Cabinet members were.

All executive branch members except for the President and Vice President. If the vice presidency is vacant, the president may appoint a vice president under the 25th Amendment.
All judicial branch members (justices/judges).
Senators and Representatives are traditionally elected, though state governors can fill Senate vacancies by appointment. ALL Representatives are elected, without exception.

Only municipal officials are appointed. At least in Canada they are.

supreme court justices, the presidents cabinet, head of the cia, fbi etc.. they are voted in by congress but not the american people. those are just a few.
