Nose Piercing?

Okay, So I decided that I want to finally get my nose pierced during the Christmas Break. I have 2 weeks off from school and I am wondering if I should get it then. I also want to know if the piercing hurt more than the usual pain, because I am not good with pain. If anybody can give me any tips and advice it would be nice.

I am getting a diamond stud in my nose; and yes my school do let us wear poercings.

Pain is relative, everyone feels it differently, so its hard to say how bad it will hurt. Cartilage is thick and that area is sensitive, so expect some pain and your eyes will probably water. If you've had an ear cartilage piercing, the feeling is somewhat comparable. But overall, piercings are done and over with very quickly, so it will be tolerable for you. Piercing it over you break would be good since you will be able to get over the soreness and pain of having a new piercing and you will be able to dedicate better time to cleaning it.

Keep in mind the next few days to two weeks, your nose will be sore in general and that is usually more frustrating that the piercing procedure itself.

Since your school allows piercings, its good that you will not have to remove the jewelry or wear a retainer during the healing process. As long as you keep the piercing clean and take care of it, you should be fine. The piercing will take 4-6 months to heal, during that time you need to clean it twice daily for the first 1-2 months and then once daily after that. Your piercer will give you proper aftercare instructions (which should be dial soap and water and sea salt soaks). Good luck to you.

I had my nose pierced a few weeks ago.But I did mine myself.But when they do it, its so quick.It literrally takes just a few seconds with the gun.Just make sure that you dont take it off for cleaning for atleast the first month maybe a little longer it takes some time to heal.And its really painful to put back if not healed.Clean with peroxide and turn it two to three time a day.

I have mine pierced and it didnt really hurt until the next day. Christmas break would be a great time to get it done. Mine was swollen for abour 2 days and its been fine ever since.

doesnt really hurt aches a bit for a day after, or so and is a bit tender as long as you dont intend on being smacked about you should be fine- will hurt for a bit but, they look pretty! 2 weeks should be long enough for it to keep the hole open so wen you have ot take it out for school it wont close up.

probable a nostril piercing because the position I stay abdomen button piercings are truly worry-free and nostril piercings seem large (i'm speaking about the aspect of your nostril in case you advise the interior then abdomen button because the interior piercings make you seem to be a bull)

It not only hurts like crazy, it also makes you look like a freak. If you decide to get a ring put in your nose anyway, make sure that you provide your boyfriend with a chain and snap.

it doesnt hurt, unless you have no pain tolerence. And get it whenever you want.....nose piercing are ugly though, unless you are really pretty to be able to pull it off without looking trashy

Go for it! I've gotten 14 piercings, and no, it doen't hurt, it only takes 10 mins, if even...and it will look great!!

you should get it done and it dint hurt well it didn't hurt me i dint know if it will hurt you or not but does your school let you wear noise rings
