I can't quite picture a woman being comfortable wearing a jock strap. While I would never think of wearing a bra, or silk pink panties with lace. I would be laughed out of town if I was seen in a strapless evening gown and high heels.
Many will disagree with me, but some other things that I consider purely feminine are earings, necklaces, long hair in a rubber band. To me, anyone wearing the above in not all masculine - - - he has female tendencies.

There would be no *practical* reason for a woman to wear a jock strap (or a cup, which is often used with a jock), but they can if they want to...
I don't think there are any gender-specific clothing items. While people will laugh if a man shows up in a dress, they don't if he shows up in a kilt -- which is the same thing clothing-wise. As far as I'm concerned, people can wear anything they darn well want to :)

I think it depend on the person cause i know a girl who loves to wear a jock strap. So the only thing i would say is something made just for women like a low cut dress or shirt ,or with glitter sparkles but i have seen some guys wearing stuff like that even though they shouldn't be but they like it so what can you do but to except them.:)

Well . . . I, personally, don't think there are any items that should be gender-specific. I love to see girls and boys getting dressed up in what is 'naughty' for them- girls in suits, boys in stockings and heels.
For women, I don't think there's any article of clothing that by itself is gender-specific, except, like you said, jockstraps. But put everything together- a tie with pants and a suit jacket, and she's crossing some kind of barrier. Even though women do wear jockstraps (much to the love of some people)- check out jockstrapgirlz.com!
For men, stockings/pantyhose, garters, corsets, skirts, women's shoes, bras, anything that is too lacy and frilly or pink, really. Most feminine clothing is considered taboo for men.

Heterosexual, non-transgendered men usually don't wear bras, panties or dresses. As far as women, yes its a double standard but wearing her man's clothes is pretty sexy... your right about the jock strap.

If you're asking me, personally: no, I don't think there's anything that only men should wear or only women should wear. But I find crossdressers of both genders to be very attractive, so I'm probably a bit biased.

Bra for women.
Men have nothing specific except jock-strap as you have mentioned. Most other clothing for men can be worn by women. Men definitely can not wear bra.

Clothing that specifically say "womens". Generally they are cut differently and do not fit well on a male(although many items of male clothing do work/fit on women.)

Of everyday clothing, I don't see anything as male specific (blouses are only shirts with the buttons on the other side for example)
Skirts, stockings, bra's are female only
