Steinbrenner,for me it goes back to the 70s Reggie Jackson he was a big JERK as are most of the players ARod is the biggest one of them all he makes sure everyone knows how much money he gives to charity the player who dosen't tell how much has the class (Jeter) the only 2 players who have class are Jeter and Giambi who I met when he was on the A's he gave my brother and me a bunch of autographs.

In my experience it is because they are jealous that their team didn't do as well as the Yankees! Go Yankees!!

Because they like other teams better and the Yankees beat their favorite team.

because the yankees have all the money in the world to buy up the best ball players there are. its sad that even with that that they arent very good

its the resentment that they are the highest paid franchise...sports fans hate to associate fair play with money so when the yankees lose it proves that money can't buy everything..

Because they are in part responsible for salaries getting so high that it makes it difficult for smaller market teams to be competitive. In other words they try to buy success instead of winning it with good scouting.

They spend more money then any team. Its good to see a team that wins without there payroll.
