Zombie-I'm sure some did and some didn't.....but some reservists are on their third rotation? So NO, I don't agree with that.

Fozzie- I have no idea if they have a tank or not...their security...not fighting the war.

And while there may be a FEW that make a high wage...the grunts, the Cpls that are dying DO NOT make that kind of money.....show me a Cpl that makes 200,000 plus!

YEs, the ex Navy Seals and what not...but you think they would be there if they were only offered the pay they would have normally rec in the military?????...LOL

GMAB...they wouldn't do it!!!!!

What happened to doing the "honorable" thing? You know....for America.

MONEY is the incentive...and who foots that bill?????....the tax payers.

Those private guys are former military anyway. So when the military guys get out, they can go do that if they want. But they'll probably never want to see that desert again.

If we got rid of all of the people in this country on welfare, we'd be able to pay the same to our military.

Many people get into private security after a military or police career. That's why the pay is so high - because the come trained and ready to hit the ground running. Not all private security jobs pay higher than our military, and no everyone in the military makes low wages.

Regarding better equipment? I've never seen a private security firm with a tank or a Stealth Bomber.

The military people who serve are not doing it for money, regardless of what that idiot charlie rangle says. They are doing it out of a sense of duty, honor, and patriotism. To suggest otherwise is to dishonor them.
