What is your take on drunks?

To me, as a person becomes more of a "professional drinker", they become boring, obnoxious and usually a lying sack of crap who is only interested in his/her ego trip. Do you also find this to be true?

I dont mind people who drink occasionaly, as long as it is not causing problems. I myself, drink a few beers once in awhile, or when camping, etc. but never when driving or when I have something to do, and when I do, its only when I wont be going anywhere. Part of my job requires me to go into sports bars, casino's, etc. and I see some really obnoxious people in those places sometimes. if someone lives to drink, or if they are cracking their first beer a 7:30 in the morning and going all day, thats a problem., I think. I dont like drunks. They always have some assholish comment for you, or are picking fights, or being rude.

I loathe drunks. I grew up in a family where drinking was not only social, it was expected. From an early age, I watched my uncles and some aunts indulge, let the alcohol consume them, and act like "a fool." I despised this kind of behavior then (as did my Grandmother, who preached against it - they drank even more) and can't tolerate it even now.

Drunks reek of foul, aged, drunkenness (and cigarettes) and can't even contain a decent conversation, let alone stand up straight. They urinate all over themselves and anything nearby. They are super ugly - eyes bulging, breath stinking, and just overall idiots.

Ego trip - oh yes indeed. This is the ripe time for them to get on a drunken soap box and talk about their insecurities and become the martyrs of today's world, as if anyone could give a rip! And they lie like crazy - always just had "one drink!" Grrrr! Just thinking about a slimy, ugly drunk makes me want to barf, which is also what they do because their stupid butts can't handle all the liquor they consume! Losers!
