With the playstation 3 being delayed again till march.Will it be worth the wait with the xbox360 already out and nintendos new machine coming out for christmas?

The PlayStation is the best out right now. It has the new blue-ray disc technology and can play the new blue-ray DVD movies as well. I personally would wait. The x-box 360 is next on the list of performers. Great console and their are already many game titles out for it. The Nintendo actually looks nice but lacks in the area of graphic performance. Once the novelty of the motion controllers wears off, and you want to sit back down on the couch and game, its fun will be gone. The Nintendo was made for kids and Nintendo usually releases many family oriented titles. If your going to buy right now and don't care about having the latest tech. ,then buy the 360. I will wait for the tech. prices to drop. Once the Playstation has been out awhile you will see its price drop and the used game bins will be full of titles to choose from, cheaper than new titles. Look at how long the PS2 has been out. Give it awhile... Just watch after Christmas the 360 will drop a 100 bucks to be in competition with Sony. One thing is that most of the good titles are usually released to all systems. You just have to decide which is worth the cash. If you want to pay for tech. then go for it. But, is the couple 100 bucks more you pay, worth the very minimal performance increase. Plus who wants to pay 70$ for a new game.

yes....but if I had the money I'd just get the xbox360.
graphics are just as good, but you wont have as many games.
the reason why I would go for xbox360 is no one really knows as to how long that wait will be.
when it comes out, after christmas there wont be any in the stores. Only an x amount have been made to ship for america, and other international countries.
so you know that you'll have to wait probably four-five months, and even then i think the rage will still be going for it
i saw one on ebay going for around $4,000!

Which delay are you talking about playstation 3 already had its first release. If your refering to the seconde release of the produce its always good to wait for the second release. The first realeas was only 400,000 units to the US so they went fast and sold high. And the nintendo WII came out two days later just so you know.

I recommend getting an Xbox 360 and/or a Wii for now and a PS3 later. The only good PS3 game so far is Resistence: Fall of Man and Gears of War for the 360 is better then it. Late 2007 is when there'll be a lot of good PS3 games out.

i like the nintendo. i have the original NES and have most of the hand held nintendos so im looking forward to the Wii coming out, specially with the fact you actually do the actions you want your character to do is really amazing....
ps3? havent heard much about it being too special...
hope it helps... plus im sure the Wii is cheaper...
i personally think its the company thats hyping up the wait, all the children will be saving up there xmas money, they will be geting jobs and making there new years resolution to get it. with quetions like this people are responing to the hype and getting more info about it and hearing more rumours which make it sound better than it actually is...

no it will not be worth it, the games out when ps3 is released are going to be pretty average at best.
Buy a 360 now and wait a few more months for the price of ps3 to drop - by then some half decent games should be out.

It seems as if they might in a way do suicide, i haven't heard if this is disproved or not, but the PS3 might "register" discs and will only work for your PS3, which will mess up everything of course
besides the point, i do like the remake of FF7 and also having MGS4 on it, but the price might not be worth it...I'd rather get the Wii

The Xbox 360 is just a good as the PS3. Microsoft is just a step infront of Sony.

yes that way all the bugs etc that come with the first release systems can be addressed. thats why im buying my ps3 next winter so there will be more games and less problem with the OS of the console

xbox, seriously is way ahead of ps2 and believe me, you won't regret getting the new xbox.
Quite a lot of games are gonna have compatibility issues when it comes to what works with PS2 and what won't work with PS3.
But, if you have tons of games that are PS specific, then i guess you gotta wait :P
