I don't think it should be. I believe the morning after pill should be easier for women to get (especially with the time restrictions-you have to take it within 72hours). But, I think that if it were available, women would over-use or misuse it.

The FDA has declared that the morning after pill should be available without a prescription. In many states though you still have to ask a pharmacist and show ID to prove you are 18 or older. If you ask your pharmacist they will provide you the pill. If you are under 18 you will need and adult to obtain it for you. Good Luck!

you can already get them over the counter but they are a little pricy. At Walgreens they charge $35 and you have to get them from the pharmacy

try protection the pill is not always the answer, read the warning over using it can cause you not to be able to have children when you are ready for them

In most places it already is, but pharmacists are still trying to force their beliefs in some cases and will refuse to provide you with this legal option.

I believe in some stated it all ready is of they are very close, you can go to planned parenthood to get some don't even charge you for it.
