You could "Export" all of your contacts to a USB flash drive or an SD card and then put the card or the USB flash drive in the new computer and "Import" to your Outlook from there , you can also use a floppy disc, a CD-R or any other removable storage device, there is also a programme in XP for transferring files but it would be more complicated.

Your contacts (and all other data) is contained in a .pst file. Probably called Outlook.pst. You can search for your existing .pst file ((Do a search for *.pst on your hard drive (include hidden and system folders). This will pull all your .pst files, which may include an archive.pst file and others. Then copy the .pst file over to your new computer via usb device, CD, whatever.))
A simpler solution is to go to file/export, then export all your data to a new .pst file that can be copied to the new PC. Then, on the new PC, go to file/import, and import the data from that .pst file.

To me the easiest way has always been to select all contacts then right click the area and the select forward. It will attach them all into one email, email them to yourself and then you can just import them into your new system. Copying the .pst file works too.

So buried on your person profile on your computing device is a document like "Outlook.pst" which includes each and every thing. in case you replica the single out of your previous computing device and replace the hot one with the former one it is going to immediately have each and every thing in it. as an get mutually, my document is saved in this folder: C:archives and SettingsAdministratorLocal SettingsApplication DataMicrosoftOutlook contained in the above, "Administrator" is my username. What you want to do is search for your computing device on your pst document. you could both search for for "Outlook.pst" or "*.pst" and note what it famous. you would then purely replace the hot document such as your previous one. caution: in case you've downloaded new emails, created new contacts or created new calendar products replacing your new document with the former one will wipe out all of your new stuff. to circumvent this you'd be desiring to rename your new pst document "New_Outlook.pst" and then purely replica your previous pst document right into a similar folder. there is one very last step. Open up Outlook and in case you observed the above you would possibly want to be searching in any respect of your previous archives. in case you want issues out of your new outlook document you'd be desiring to pick "open outlook archives document" from the "document" menu and open up your new pst document. you could then replica/bypass products between both archives by dragging and dropping them. i'm hoping that helps. As yet another recognize caution -- backup both archives previously doing something and strong luck! HiFi: the area of your person profile relies upon on your username. do this: Open up your "My archives" folder. Open it up and search for for "Outlook.pst" even as it famous your pst document, perfect click on it and choose "open containing folder." that's the position your pst document is saved.
