Pride...that is why...have you ever heard this story?>>>>
There was a man who was helping people out of a big flood. Once he was done, he found that the water had risen so high he needed to hang on to a tree to stay alive...he began to pray for help and then started to wait on God....A guy with a boat came along and said "hop on in" the man said "no, I am waiting on God". So the water rose Little more and he found himself in the branches of the tree...A woman in a helicopter came by and said..."I will through you the ladder, let me save you!".. the man refused again saying that he was waiting on God. Well unfortunately the man died.
When he got to Heaven, he asked God why he never saved him. God replied..." well, I sent you a boat and a helicopter...what more did you want?"
So, you see, sometimes pride will blind you from your rewards.

Some would say that if you give expecting to receive you negate the point of giving and therefor do not receive.
However, my 50+ years of experience tells me that some are givers and some are takers. In addition to that, what we receive as a result of our giving doesn't always happen immediately or even soon. In the end, when you really need to receive, you will be rewarded.

We do recieve, when we give the response of the other persons/people we RECIEVE an inner peace, sort of satisfaction for helping someone less fortunate than ourselves. even if it's only a smile, that maybe the only thing that person has to give.

And we must continue to give without any expectation of receiving. Not easy but it sure is spiritually rewarding. Kindness neutralizes selfishness, joy neutralizes sorrow, mercy neutralizes injustice. It is the responsibility of all of us to do these things in imitation of the selfless love and devotion that God gives us. We also do this because it is the most Saintly of all activities to take on to yourself the burden of negating the sins committed by others.

i know it is true, that once we give, we will also receive. Pehaps u may not always see it, but i believe just because u dont see it doesnt mean it's not true. Perhaps even if u dont recieve, ur generations will. perhaps even you have recieve beause of the kindness of ur ancestors---a lil bit more patience is required of ur side, that's all.

because of those who like to be recievers only and never give.
the key is to love and appreciate urself, then ur gonna choose to know people who are givers and takers, cause you'll realize that even if u care sooo much about someone, he/she is not better than u to make an effort to make them appreciate u.

What are you giving and to whom do you give and for what motive behind the giving when you are able to answer yourself truthfully then you change your view to receive.

This universe is not Utopian. . .
There's only now
There's only here
Give in to love
Or live in fear There's only usThere's only this
No other path
No other way
No day but today
No day but today
live for today. . .
