i will be 36 weeks tomorrow, i lost my plug on monday and in the last few days i have been having some mucus when i go to the bathroom not every time just every once in awhle, and then last night my stomach got hard and i had alot of lower abdominal pain, but it went away, and have had none since last night, my question is does this sound like my labor is starting? i told my doc. and they said that if i start having contractions to call them, but i just wanted to see what other people thought on this. also any words of advice would be graet. this is my second child, if that helps.

Oh Yes...You are deff in labor...But theres no need to go to the hospital now if your contractions are not close together..Just relax i know its hard but thats the best thing you can go...Good Luck

When your lower stomach started to hurt, it may have been a Braxton Hicks contraction (false labour) that is why it went away. You will have your stomach getting hard regularly, closer and closer together when you actually are in labour.
