We were in high school together in journalism class, Mike(my hubby) comes up behind me and I say, "Fix me up with John" He did fix me up with John(his best friend). We dated for awhile, but it didn't work out. Well, I needed a shoulder to cry on, so Mike let me cry on his. We started dating, and now 17 years later, Mike and I are still married. A few years after we got married, Mike told me that the reason he came up behind me in class that day was that he was going to ask me out himself. Sad, but funny. We both are still friends with John too, weird huh?

Well it was February 2004 and I was attending a narcotics anoymous meeting. I am an addict so I go to these meetings. Anyway, I met Danny at the meeting. He rode a motorcycle (a Buel) had lots of tattoos and both ears pierced! I though hmmm a bad boy! Which I am usually attracted to but usually end up to be jerks. Anyway we said hello and made small talk at several meetings. Then in July there was a big NA function. A fish fry! He came up there and we hung out for awhile then asked me if I wanted to go for a ride on his motor cycle! Of course I said yes! We had so much fun! We've been together every since. We actually just got married July 2, 2006. He has 7 years clean and sober and I have 3! I feel so blessed to have this man in my life! Because we are both addicts we can relate to each other and understand what both of us has been through! I really believe God put us together!

The first time I met him, he doesn't remember. He was working at a Toy store in the mall. I was 15 and had gone in there looking at doll houses. I was pretty down on myself. My family recently moved and I lost my 1st love. I got turned down for a job that day because I wasn't old enough. And I was constantly questioning if I would ever find a guy who would really love me again. So this clerk asks if he could assist me. I said I was just looking and he walked away. I remember thinking to myself, "There's the man I will marry someday, yeah right!"

For the next year and a half I did find a lot of guys, who used me, but not love, and I began to pray, "God, send me someone with a heart."

At my sisters wedding reception (I was 17) and this very tall man who looked much older tthan me with his full grown beard asked me to dance. I kept telling him no because my father wouldn't aprove, that he was too old for me. My father was a mean drunk at that time, and he'd been drinking that night.

But the guy was persistant, and said he was only 19. I said "I don't believe you, show me your drivers license." And he did.

So I made him go ask for my father's permission. LOL. And my dad was like, "Son, how old are you?"

So the guy showed him his driver's license. And then we danced. I picked both songs, the first being "Love Comes Walking In" by Van Halan, and the second being "Silent Lucidity" by Queensryche.

Almost 15 and a half years later, I do believe that God sent me a man with a heart. We were married 13 years ago and have 2 kids ages 12 and 8.

I met my hubby a long time ago on Myspace. We exchanged IM names and then forgot about each other. Then a few months later I was on my IM and i was wondering who is this "Joe" on my IM's list. So I IM'd him. We talked every day and then finally met when he took me and my daughter out to lunch and they connected right way. We went out again that night and we danced the night away at the end of the night he told me that I was his future wife. I said no i'm not, but inmy heart I already knew I had met the man that I had prayed for. I gave him a run for his money and told him I was a christian girl (no sex before marriage lol) he didnt get any either. Made him want me more. He soon asked me to marry him and I said yes. We have been together ever since and we truely love each other. He's everything to me and we are expecting a new baby in July. It's more then I ever dreamed and all our children are so happy (we have 3 already combined plus one on the way) ...that's my story.

Neither of us were looking for anything. we both got out of semi serious relationships a few months before we met. A mutual friend of ours who lived a few hours away invited me to his birthday party and thats where he introduced me to my (now) husband. It was love at first sight. We both were sort of playing the field at the time but we decided after 1 week that we would be together and not see other people. I still lived 4 hours away so we only saw each other on weekends and two months later we got married. We both are in the military and had to wait to get orders to be together which we got only 4 months after applying for them! We are finally living together and will have been married for 8 months on December 13th. It all happened so fast but I would never want it any other way!

I met my husband on the Internet, actually a date site called udate.com . I had been on the site for about 2.5 years, just dating...not really looking to settle down. Then one evening I turned on the site and his profile popped up and he asked if we could chat for a while. I said sure. We chatted for a while and for some reason, I had never done before , I gave him my phone number. We talked for about 3 hours the first night. After about one month chatting on-line and talking on the phone, we decided to meet. We met June 12th 2005...our first date we saw the movie Madagascar. Then we walked in the park behind the mall and it began to rain. We ran for shelter and sat there for two ours talking. Then one year from that day we eloped to Maine, we got married in a romantic setting...in a stone chapel on the ocean ...June 12th, 2006. It has been wonderful. He is my best friend.

We met in college. Neither of us were looking. I was off a bad breakup and he had quit looking. We met at a club and were introduced through a mutual friend. We talked for a few months on the phone before he asked me out, and we were inseperable from that day forward. 2 years later, we got married. That was 13 years ago.

I wasn't looking at the time.He just sort of appeared one day.I was at a park with my nieces and nephews. And he was just sort of there. He was admiring my car.I had a souped up camaro and he was admiring it. Their wasn't any other people of driving age around. So he came over and asked me if the car was mine. And we started talking he said he never met a girl who knew what kind of car she was driving nonetheless what size engine and I knew everything about my car. He Asked why I had it set up like I did and I told him.It was because I raced with the guys in my neighbor hood who had cars like mine we would drag race down cemetery road on Friday's and he asked if he could come hang out sometime. That started a friendship that turned into what has so far been a 16+ year relationship and a 14+ year marriage.

ON THE INTERNET~ It was October 10, 2001 in a Yahoo Chat room. He had just gotten a divorce about a year before and was just looking for friends. I saw his name and liked his profile and IMed him. We talked till 2:30 on a school night. We talked EVERYDAY for 5 months till we decided to meet. I flew from Memphis, TN to Traverse City, MI on March 12, 2002. As SOON AS I seen his eyes I knew I Loved him... I traveled to see him more than 15 times before we got married (September 2004). My family did not think it was real until the night I called him (at 2:30am) and told him my grandmother was in the hospital. He dove down at 5am that morning and stayed for 2 weeks. He was there with me in the hospital everyday till she died. That sealed it for my family.
